Job Summary:
The Identity & Access Management Engineer plays a pivotal role in evolving the bank's Access and Identity program. Tasked with enhancing Information Security and Risk Management frameworks, policies, and standards, this role bridges complex compliance requirements with practical processes and procedures. With a specialization in IAM, the engineer ensures meticulous oversight, control, and documentation of access to critical applications, systems, and data, emphasizing advanced authentication measures. Additionally, this position will dive into risk management, governance initiatives, and technical audits, maintaining thorough documentation and evidence to uphold compliance and fortify the bank's resilience. This multifaceted role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, shaping the bank's security posture and readiness amidst evolving threats.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Owns IAM strategy and roadmap, providing collaborative oversight and hands-on execution to ensure alignment with organizational goals and effective implementation of identity and access management initiatives
Manages day-to-day operations of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) system, including user provisioning, access requests, role assignments, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
Generates regular reports on IAM activities, including access requests, provisioning/de-provisioning, and access reviews, to demonstrate compliance and adherence to security standards
Integrates and configures Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, ensuring seamless user authentication across diverse applications and systems
Develops and maintains end-to-end processes for user lifecycle management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access reviews
Maintains comprehensive documentation of IAM processes, configurations, and policies
Ensures maintenance of comprehensive documentation and policies across all IT domains, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives
Performs continuous improvements, automation, and innovation opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve the bank's IT Identity and access management program
Serves as the IT liaison for internal and external audits, managing audit requests, coordinating preparation and delivery of documentation requests, and reviewing deliverables
Actively participates in the refinement and enhancement of Information Security and Risk Management frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Performs other duties as assigned
